Joshua was accused by his best friend’s wife of having sex with her after she past out from drinking. The alleged victim was walking aimlessly in Olympia until a family saw her and asked her to come into their home. They let her use their phone and she called the police and reported the rape. Joshua said they were in bed together but they were both so drunk he doesn’t remember having sex. We interviewed the mother of the alleged victim and she said her daughter was throwing herself at Joshua and she heard them in bed together. When she opened the door the situation was consensual. The mother yelled at her daughter which upset the daughter who ran down the road. The alleged victim admitted she didn’t remember anything but she did remember flirting with Joshua. The State dismissed the Rape allegation against Joshua.
