James spent a couple of days in a friend’s trailer high on meth and heroin. He shared the trailer with a young lady. They had intercourse numerous times. Her and James got into an argument and she walked back to Yelm. Later she said James had raped her and kept her captive. She said he beat her. I was able to talk with neighbors and with people who saw her walking down the road. Everyone said she was in the trailer voluntarily. We were able to prove that she was lying and convinced the prosecutor to drop the rape and assault charges. James plead guilty to Class C felony and received time served. He was happy.
